Positive Pressure Ventilation Instructor (PPVI - 5 DAYS)

The aim of this Level 3 PPVI course is to train candidates to safely and competently plan and deliver theoretical/practical training sessions in the use of positive pressure ventilation. This specialist course enables Compartment Fire Behaviour Training (CFBT) instructors to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to underpin firefighting procedures.

The course supports a safer working environment for firefighters...

...during the various stages of fire development which may be encountered on the incident ground. Delegates will demonstrate the ability to effectively use Positive Pressure Ventilation techniques, entry and air control techniques and how to implement emergency procedures, if required. Delegates will also demonstrate the ability to use a PPV training facility and will be able to apply the manufacturer’s user guidance and current good practice techniques.

...are always run with 4 instructors and a maximum of 8 students. We are aware other training providers offer larger group sizes, however; we will not sacrifice student safety for increased revenue.
